What is the Team-Panel?

The XPhone Connect Team-Panel offers you a maximum overview of the presence and availability of entire teams and departments. You can pick calls or start calls, conferences and chats directly via the Team-Panel.

Connect callers quickly & more specifically

Thanks to the flexible search function, the contact person you are looking for is at hand in seconds, even in large companies: if a caller wants to be connected to the sales department, for example, simply enter "Sales" in the search field and all colleagues from this department will be displayed.

Central administration

Whether project team or department: the groups can be created by the user or defined centrally by the administrator. The telephony and attendant functions are available across all locations and without networking the telephone systems.

All these functions are always at your fingertips: all you need to do is hover over a discreet tab, which you can position flexibly at the edge of the screen, to open the panel.

Beyond office boundaries

Is your current project team not just spread across different offices or floors, but across several locations? No problem: create a tab with your team – simply by drag & drop. This way, you always know which colleague is currently available. You can use the notes function to leave additional information for your colleagues, e.g. that you will be out of the office from midday.


Speaking of out of office: thanks to the AnyDevice function, you can also see the telephony status of employees who are working from home or on the road. For optimum teamwork – no matter where your colleagues are.

Always at hand

Outlook, Browser & Windows Explorer – no matter how many program windows you have open: you never have to search for the Team-Panel. A discreet tab at the top or side of the screen allows you to open the panel with a simple mouse-over. The tab itself can be positioned flexibly.


Do you work so intensively with the Team-Panel that you always want to have the overview in the foreground? That's no problem either. Pin the Team-Panel with a single click. All other program windows adapt automatically.

An important customer calls. They need a colleague from Marketing to answer their question. With the Team-Panel, you can see at a glance who is available by phone – and can connect the call directly, set up a conference or make an enquiry.


There are no limits to your overview: you can use various tabs to display different departments, locations or teams. The information on telephony status and presence is clearly summarised: a single glance is all it takes to find an available contact person.

Various information and functions are available via the Team-Panel. The telephony status & team note display, for example, or the option to adjust the presence status of colleagues or to pick calls. You decide which colleague can see this information and who has the right to pick up your calls, for example.


The status you assign to your colleagues (e.g. assistant, team colleague or employee) allows you to control exactly who has access to which information and functions. You can easily adjust the status both in the Team-Panel and in the client.

You can use the integrated search function to search for contacts across all tabs or in individual tabs – e.g. by first name, surname or department. Of course, you not only see the presence information here, but can also access various other functions:

  • Start phone call, conference & chat
  • Activate "Info when available"
  • Create new reminder
  • Adjust presence status & redirection of colleagues

Whether it's a new hire or a change of department, there is always a certain amount of fluctuation, especially in large companies. The groups that are displayed in the Team-Panel can be created, rolled out and maintained centrally by the administrator. This ensures that all employees are always up to date.


The Team-Panel itself is integrated into the XPhone Connect client: no additional installation is required. And who is allowed to use the panel can also be conveniently defined via the administration interface.
