XPhone integrates a wide variety of PBXs and session border controllers.
This turns a heterogeneous ICT infrastructure into a standardised communication solution.
Thanks to its open architecture and standardised interfaces, XPhone Connect can be used flexibly and across all company sizes. The fact that the UC solution supports almost all well-known PBX manufacturers and various SBCs (Session Border Controllers) guarantees both homogeneous communication across locations and telephone systems as well as long-term investment protection.
XPhone can be administered via a web-based interface. All settings, such as rights management, are controlled and rolled out centrally. An installation wizard assists you with the setup itself. User data can be imported directly from the Active Directory or from CSV files using connectors.
Admin roles
Use the multi-level administration to set up sub-administrators for different locations and manage various locations via one server.
You can also define different administrator roles and set up a data protection officer, for example, who is responsible for configuring the analytics groups.
All changes made by the administrator and sub-administrators are automatically logged.
Backup & Restore
Thanks to the integrated backup and restore function, you are protected in every situation.
And without any manual intervention: use the Backup Manager for automatic backups (e.g. after business hours).
So you are always on the safe side!

Encryption & security protocols
Encrypted data connections
The XPhone Server provides encrypted client-server connections:
- Connection to the Connect Client: Communication takes place via TLS-secured WCF TCP binding. The certificate is regenerated each time the XPhone Connect Server is started. The encryption algorithm used is Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a key length of 256 bits . No additional protocols are used (e.g. LDAP, SMTP, IMAP etc.). Encryption is activated by default.
- Internal voice communication (Softphone Desktop, AnyDevice, Meetings, TeamDesk) is secured with SRTP . The encryption algorithm used is Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a key length of 256 bits . Voice communication to the exchange (PSTN) must be secured by the telephone system or the SBC.
- Connection to the Outlook client: The Outlook client uses the same connection as the Connect client.
- Connection to the Mobile Client: SSL encryption of the IIS
- Connection LDAP clients to the XPhone Connect Directory: SSL-encrypted TCP connection

For communication with external mail servers (e.g. Microsoft Office 365), SMTP and IMAP
can be encrypted directly by the XPhone Connect Server.
Software made in Germany
XPhone Connect is 100% made in Germany. We do not relocate jobs or resources to so-called "best cost countries". Our support is also completely German-speaking.
We are based near Munich and know the challenges of the local market because we are part of it ourselves.
Our data protection standards are correspondingly high. All data – whether contacts, chats or voicemails – can be stored on-premises on your own server and under your data sovereignty.
