XPhone Tapi server

TAPI connection directly from the manufacturer

Do you use TAPI-capable applications such as ERP or CRM and want to centralise your business telephony? The XPhone TAPI server keeps your processes moving in real time – without the need for a remote TSP.

With the XPhone Connect TAPI server, you can integrate telephony functions such as dialing, signaling and presence status directly into your software landscape. Installation takes place locally or on terminal servers - without additional components or external driver solutions. For companies with heterogeneous TC environments, the TAPI server is the perfect bridge between applications and the telephone system.

Functions

  • Dial at the click of a mouse directly from your application
  • Call signaling: The XPhone TAPI server signals incoming calls to your application and transfers the caller's number. This allows the application to open the corresponding contact data record, for example.
  • Call acceptance at the click of a mouse directly from your application
  • Transmission of telephony statuses: The XPhone TAPI server transmits various telephony statuses (free, busy, consultation etc.) to your application and thus supports journal management in your application.
  • Security: The XPhone Connect TAPI server uses rights management to ensure that each user is only provided with the TAPI lines that they are authorized to use. This ensures that each user can only use their own TAPI line.

Please note: The functions depend on the scope of the respective TAPI-capable application.

Your advantages

  • You use powerful CTI functions from your TAPI-capable applications independently of the XPhone front ends.
  • The client component communicates directly with the XPhone TAPI server in the network. Configuration and setup of a Microsoft Remote TAPI Server (Remote TSPs) are not required. The XPhone Server takes over the function of the TAPI server and is connected to the PBX via CSTA or a central TAPI interface.
  • Can be used in networked ICT environments with different telephone systems
