Buy XPhone
Yes, it still exists! You can buy licences from us and use them for an unlimited period of time.

Subscribe to XPhone

Are there differences in functions or updates between subscription and purchase licences?
No, the functional scope of XPhone Connect is identical in both models. Updates and further developments are also available in both versions. With the subscription within the agreed term, with the purchase licence as part of your Software Assurance Up2Date.
Do both models allow user-specific licencing?
Yes, you can licence exactly the number of users you need when purchasing or subscribing to the software.
Can I mix Enterprise and Premium users in the subscription model?
It is not possible to mix Premium and Enterprise users.
What happens if we cancel the subscription?
After termination, access to the software ends. You can then no longer use XPhone. Your data will of course be retained and protected. As soon as you have an active licence, you can immediately use XPhone again to the usual extent.
How long will we receive support?
As a general rule, only the latest versions of XPhone are supported.
As you automatically use the latest version in the subscription model, you also receive ongoing support during the term of the subscription.
In the purchase model, your XPhone version is supported for as long as it is current. When a new version goes on sale, you receive exactly 1 year of support.
An example: You use XPhone Connect 9 and XPhone Connect 10 is released on 01.10.2025. You are now entitled to support for another year, namely until 30.09.2026.
Can I switch from the purchase to the subscription model (or vice versa)?

Which option is cheaper: purchase or subscription?
That depends on your planning: If you are working with fixed structures over many years, the purchase licence may be more economical. If the focus is on flexibility, budget control and low entry costs, the subscription offers advantages. Our sales team will be happy to provide you with a sample calculation. Simply arrange an individual needs analysis.
Is XPhone a cloud solution?
No, XPhone is an on-premises solution. This means that your data remains in-house - for maximum security and full control. The subscription model is also based on local installation without cloud dependency.
Of course, you still have the option of hosting the XPhone Server on a virtual machine such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or on your own cloud hypervisor.
